Monday:  Barbecued Ribs & Sauce

  • 3 lbs of boneless pork style ribs
  • 2 cuos of bbq sauce
  • 1 cup of water
  1. Place the ribs in the bottom of your crock pot.
  2. Mix bbq sauce and water and pour over the meat
  3. Cover and cook for 8-10 hrs on low
  4. Pull ribs apart and it makes a pulled pork or leave whole.

Tuesday- Lemon Garlic Chicken

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 3 lbs boneless and skinless chicken breasts
  •  2 gloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1/4 cup black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp of lemon juice
  • 1 tsp minced fresh parsley
  1. Rub oregano, salt, and peeper into chicken.  Brown the chicken in a skillet.  Then place the chicken in the crock pot.
  2. Place water, lemon juice, and garlic in the skillet.  Bring it to a boil.  Pour it over the chicken.
  3. Cover.  Cook on high 2-2 1/2 hrs or 4-5 hours on low

Wednesday- Tex Mex beef and potatoes

  • 1-2 lbs ground beef (depending on family size)
  • 1 red pepper chopped
  • 1 chopped onion (vidalia preferred)
  • 1 pkg taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 4 cups of frozen hash browns
  • 1 can of corn or pkg of frozen corn
  • 1/2 lb shredded mexican cheese or cheddar
  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Brown meat  with peppers and onions. drain and return to the skillet
  3. Stir in taco mix and water
  4. Add potatoes, corn, and cheese
  5. Spoon into a 13*9 baking dish, cover and cook for 20 mins
  6. Remove cover, stir and cook an additional 15 mins

Thursday- Pasta Night

  • 1 lb of pasta – kids choice
  • 1-2 lbs of meatballs
  • sauce
  • Garlic bread- pre made or 1 loaf of italian bread smothered in butter, minced garlic, parm cheese, mozz cheese. Cook in aluminum foil for 20 mins.  Open foil and open the bread, brown until desired.
  1. Cook pasta
  2. Heat balls
  3. Heat sauce and meatballs to the sauce
  4. Pour desired amounts of pasta, sauce, and meatballs on plates and cut the bread

Friday- Greek Chicken

  • 6 medium potatoes quartered
  • 3 lbs chicken- your choice
  • 1 bag of carrots
  • 2 onions also quartered
  • whole bulb of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp blk pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  1. Place potatoes and carrots in the bottom of the crock pot.  Add chicken, garlic, and onions.
  2. Mix water, salt, pepper oregano in a small bowl.
  3. Pour over the chicken, potatoes, and carrots.  Top with olive oil.
  4. Cover and cook high 5-6 hrs or low 9-10 hrs
